Making a Name for China in Dian: The Guardians of Huaxia

They only wanted to earn a little extra money to support their families, but were tricked into a living hell in a foreign country.

Beaten, starved, treated like cattle, they could cry to the heavens and receive no answer, call out to the earth and find no help.

Someone braved a hail of bullets and crossed the border through the jungle, coming alone to bring them home.

Lin Chen, an ordinary veteran, keeps a secret known only to himself as he walks through the darkness beyond his country's borders.

He rescues his fellow townspeople, his compatriots, every Chinese person trapped in desperate circumstances.

He seeks no fame or fortune, and hardly anyone even knows he exists.

But behind him stands the silent protection of an entire nation.

A hot meal at the village entrance, a military salute at the border, medicine from the embassy, a medal with no name on it.

You protect your compatriots, and your country protects you.

The land remains at peace only because someone is willing to protect it with their life.
