Demon Slayer: Maple Perches, Butterfly Dreams

【Female Lead and the Kocho Sisters】【No System, Not a Power Fantasy】【Nuanced Emotions】 Hoshino Kaede, a “fool” who hides his gentleness beneath a prickly suit of armor. Like a blade of grass pressed low into the dirt, he once struggled alone in despair. That is why he longs for bonds more than anyone, yet fears losing them more than anyone. So he puts on the most ferocious front he can, driving away every bit of warmth that tries to draw near. He knows what it feels like to be treated cruelly, so he fights with everything he has to hold up an umbrella for others in a world overrun by demons. Just as he was preparing to turn to dust in the fireworks and fade away alone, two little butterflies quietly fluttered into his world. “Big man, was the journey hard?” “What a... hopeless fool.” This time, it is their turn to protect this one and only, gentle fool. The timeline might be a little messy, so let’s just call it an original story ( ﹡ˆoˆ﹡ )
