Who Brings a Has-Been Star to a Dating Show? She Kisses the Capital's Heiress from the Start

Chen Feng, a nobody from the bottom rung of showbiz, is suddenly singled out by the agency of Jiang Jingyan, a wealthy young lady from Beijing, and asked to join a dating reality show.

He’s never even met this young lady. Why did she pick him?

Is she repaying a debt or settling a score?

Whatever. He needs the money, so he’ll go.

[Ding! Grudge System successfully bound!]

As long as someone dislikes him, he can exchange their resentment for skills and grow stronger.

And on the show, people who can’t stand him are lining up to give him what he needs.

The whole show goes completely off the rails!

He’s supposed to show off his abs for views? In a flash, he becomes a world-class swimmer and sets a world record in the 50-meter freestyle!

The young lady is drowning! He gives her mouth-to-mouth underwater, and the whole internet goes wild!

A romantic performance? They sing “Plain Face” together, and the young lady turns beet red as soon as the song ends!

On a deserted-island survival challenge, he exchanges points for koi-like luck. While everyone else chews tree bark, he treats the young lady to a feast!

He finds a missing national treasure by the sea and turns it over to the authorities without a second thought. The whole internet praises him: “They blacklisted a patriotic young man!”

During a haunted-house challenge, the young lady fails her mission, so he takes the punishment for her: spending the night in a wheat field.

Jiang Jingyan follows him there and lies beside him under the stars.

In the final episode, Chen Feng finally asks the question he’s been holding back all season.

“Why did you pick me back then?”

Jiang Jingyan kisses the corner of his mouth.

“Do you remember, six years ago, when you were on the rooftop...”

The bullet comments go wild:
