The Two Heroes of Guandong

In the twenty-sixth year of Guangxu, a severe drought struck Dengzhou. Yu Huang was as silent as a mountain, while Yu Hua was sharp-witted and competitive. The brothers left their mother and headed north, joining the endless tide of people making their way to Manchuria. They crossed the sea, pushed through forests, broke new ground, and built roads.
