In a Year of Famine, I Built a Paradise in the Snowy Mountains

Main characters: Tian Xiaowan and Tian Dazhuang

Farming + System + Famine + Prosperity + Adorable kids

Tian Xiaowan is a college student who accidentally transmigrates to ancient times during a famine.

She is the third child in her family, where one meal is never guaranteed to be followed by another, and she is made to do all the dirty, exhausting work. Her grandparents treat the children differently, and only then does her father realize he isn't their biological son.

It's hell mode from the start. Her grandmother wants to sell her to a man whose face is covered in huge pimples.

Tian Xiaowan grabs a sickle and starts swinging wildly. "Anyone who lays a hand on me, I'll chop you to death..."

She decisively splits from the family. In the freezing snow, with no other choice, she takes her family to Qingyun Mountain, the forbidden mountain on the edge of the village.

She builds a house deep in the mountains and clears land to grow vegetables.

The mountain is full of wild boars and rabbits, creating a stark contrast between eating meat up on the mountain and gnawing tree bark and wild greens down below.

She clears and cultivates the land, hunts game, and builds a hidden paradise deep in the mountains, making the whole village green with envy.
