Journey to the West: The Pilgrimage Was the Plan, So Why Are You Slaughtering Buddhas?

At Wu River, the Hegemon slit his throat, but his remnant soul endured. When he opened his eyes again, he had become Sun Wukong, the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, imprisoned beneath Five Elements Mountain!

The moment he woke, a bald monk named Tang Sanzang was holding out a flowery hat, wearing a look of compassion as he told him to put it on.

"I have never bowed to anyone in my life. How dare you bald monks think you can control me?!"

Xiang Yu burst into wild laughter and struck back with a slap, instantly crushing the reincarnation of Jin Chanzi into a mist of blood! The Tight-Fillet Spell? He crushed it along with Five Elements Mountain!

Guanyin, watching from behind the scenes, flew into a rage, and the gods and Buddhas of the heavens moved to suppress him once more.

But the Hegemon's soul had merged with the Great Sage's divine body, awakening the supreme path of slaughter!

"From today on, I am the foremost god of slaughter in the Western Heaven! Anyone who dares stand in my way is no better than a pig or dog!"

When Xiang Yu, carrying his God-Slaying Halberd, fought his way through the South Heaven Gate and slaughtered everyone in the Great Thunderclap Temple, the Buddhas of Mount Ling fell to their knees and wailed, while the Daoist Immortals trembled in fear.

A mighty Buddhist master yanked at his hair: "This is too brutal! Starting today, this humble monk is switching to Daoist cultivation. My Daoist name is Qingfeng!"

A Daoist Celestial Venerable cursed furiously: "Damn this idea of giving up Daoism to become a monk! Which bald monk came up with this stupid plan in the first place?!"

Deep in the sea of consciousness, the remnant soul of the Great Sage cried out: "Great Sage of Western Chu! Well killed! I was still too merciful back then!"
