The Princess Is Fierce, and Her Female Prince Consort Begs for Mercy

[Two female leads + they take turns pursuing each other + devoted couple]

The third princess, Shangguan Yu, is infamous throughout Chang'an as a "professional husband-killer." Her first three fiancés all died in increasingly bizarre ways the day before their weddings: drowning, falling from a horse, and dying in bed.

Rumor has it the princess is the reincarnation of a calamity star, and anyone who marries her is doomed to die.

Jiang Xun: ??? But I'm a woman. How am I supposed to marry a princess?

But she doesn't dare say so, and can only grit her teeth and go through with the wedding.

On their wedding night, Jiang Xun instinctively covers her mouth and nose. The last time, the princess poisoned someone this way.

Shangguan Yu sneers. "Afraid I'll hurt you, Consort?"

Jiang Xun forces a laugh. "I wouldn't dare. Please calm down, Your Highness."

With each harboring their own ulterior motives, the two begin living together in a life of "a fake marriage and real acting."

By day, they put on a loving show in front of everyone, making the eldest princess furious. At night, one sleeps in the bed and the other on the couch, each on guard and testing the other in secret. Shangguan Yu wants to kill this "lecherous top scholar," while Jiang Xun wants to escape this life-threatening marriage.

But gradually, the princess realizes that this "consort" never gets close to women, is absurdly generous, and has even hidden a famous courtesan in the Tianxiang Tower.

And Jiang Xun discovers that behind the princess's reputation as a "husband-killer" lies an even sharper blade...
