Princess, Keep Your Darling Wife in Check

General Lin Yan is a woman disguised as a man, decisive and ruthless in battle, and utterly unfamiliar with love.

That is, until she rescues a beautiful stranger, gravely wounded and unconscious.

Helping her undress, applying medicine, wiping her face: it is all simply part of saving her.

Yet Lin Yan's hands tremble, her ears burn, and her heart pounds out of control. She hardly dares to breathe.

A fierce warrior on the battlefield, she is a complete mess in front of this soft, delicate body.

But when the beauty wakes, her first instinct is to draw her blade and attack.

As the cold flash of steel bears down on her, Lin Yan dodges awkwardly and manages only one aggrieved protest:

“I saved you.”

The next moment, the beauty collapses into her arms, barely breathing.

Lin Yan's heart lurches wildly.

Concealing her identity as a general, she stays by the woman's side in men's clothing.

Calm in public, unable to restrain her feelings in private.

One extra glance makes her heart flutter; one touch too many crosses a line.

What began as an accidental rescue turns into day after day, night after night of longing and affection.

When she can no longer hide who she is,

she gazes at the woman before her, still as cool and composed as ever, and speaks in a low voice, with warmth held carefully in check:

“I saved your life and protected you all the way here.

So, will you give yourself to me in return?”
