Back in Republican-Era China, I Stirred Up the World with My Business Acumen

Business whiz Su Niannian wakes up one morning to find she has gone from being a modern office worker to a penniless girl in the Republic of China era, without even a decent pair of shoes. Luckily, she still has her business acumen. While others flee famine, she gets into logistics; while others farm, she goes into wholesale. Through sheer grit, she rises from a dockworker to a shining new star in Tianjin’s business world. Just as her career is taking off, the stone-faced warlord Gu Changjun takes her away to be his housekeeper. She even saves his life with a washbasin. From then on, she helps the young marshal hunt down spies and investigate fraudulent accounts, while making waves in the business world of the Republic of China. But there’s a problem: she came here to build a career, so why is the young marshal, who keeps pulling out medicated oil at the drop of a hat, looking at her more and more strangely?
