Reborn in Scarlet: Rei and Shuichi's Journey Side by Side

[A homemade sweet little treat. Please don't flame me for OOC characterization.] Rebirth and redemption | The entire Police Academy crew survives | Mutual pining and push-and-pull | Undercover partners | Changing fate Pairing: Shuichi Akai × Rei Furuya Volume One: Returning to the height of his youth, Shuichi Akai brings with him the complete memories of bringing down the Black Organization, along with all the regrets of a past life in which he failed to make things right. He returns to the turning point of fate. With the foresight to see everything ahead, he knows every one of the Organization's bases, its dark schemes, and its undercover plans. He also knows the tragic ending destined for each person. In this new life, he has only two goals: protect Rei Furuya, the man he has cherished all his life, and do everything in his power to save every member of the Police Academy crew, as well as Akemi Miyano, who was supposed to die. He goes undercover in the Black Organization earlier and carefully lays out a safer plan. Then, in the final showdown at age twenty-five, he rewrites everyone's fate across the span of ten years. May dawn arrive a little sooner, and may every regret be erased! Volume Two: If Rei Furuya were reborn, what choices would he make? Would he confess his feelings, or pretend he knew nothing?
