Exiled to the Imperial Tombs, the Wicked Princess Consort Knows How to Handle Her Husband

Li Sisi, a high school student from a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, accidentally transmigrates to another world, where she meets the Ninth Prince, who has been poisoned by a parasitic insect and exiled to guard the imperial mausoleum. She returns to the modern world, but her longing for him lingers for years.

When seven stars align, the blood jade at her neck sends her back to the other world. Her soul transmigrates into Ruan Shuning, the legitimate daughter of a vice minister. Her birth mother is gravely ill, her stepmother and half-sister plot against her, and her father is cold and unfairly favors others. Armed with her medical skills, she takes on the wolves in the household, protects her mother, and settles scores with everyone who has wronged them.

The Ninth Prince, once on the brink of death, returns covered in military glory. At their reunion, he recognizes at a glance the woman who saved him across time and space. Defying criticism from the court and obstruction from the great clans, he sends ten miles of wedding gifts and an eight-bearer bridal sedan, asking only for her to be his one and only principal wife.

After their marriage, he plots and schemes against traitors and puts down the corrupt in public, while doting on his wife and indulging her in everything at home. Together, they crush the many conspiracies at court. Xiao Jinyuan ascends the throne, Ruan Shuning becomes empress, and the two stand by each other as they rule over a vast realm.
