The Journey Begins with the Jinggangshan Children’s Corps

Su Yu transmigrates into the body of A Yu, the children's corps leader on Jinggang Mountain in 1934. Using his spatial abilities, he rescues women, children, and wounded soldiers left behind in the Soviet areas after the Red Army's Long March. He helps the units left behind to wage guerrilla warfare in the Soviet areas, supplying them with guns, ammunition, food, and medicine. He establishes camps, trains the children's corps, and organizes guerrilla forces behind enemy lines, holding out until the War of Resistance breaks out. He joins the New Fourth Army, strikes at the Japanese invaders, and rises to become a detachment leader. Later, he takes part in the War of Liberation, playing an important role in the Yangtze River Crossing Campaign and the battles for Nanjing and Shanghai. After liberation, he joins the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, defending his homeland. In the end, he becomes a general and fulfills his lifelong vow to devote himself to his country.
