Back to 1982: A Northeast Hunter Wins Over His Wife and Daughter

In his sixties, Fang Hong kneels before his late wife’s grave, tears of regret streaming down his face with the rain. In his previous life, he believed his parents’ cruel nonsense about how having no son was the greatest disgrace. He beat and berated his wife for giving birth to four daughters, driving her to leap off a cliff with their three-month-old youngest in her arms. His three older daughters were hurt so deeply that after marrying far away, they never contacted him again. He lived alone for thirty years before a mudslide swept him away. When he opens his eyes again, it is the beginning of winter in 1982. His wife has just given birth to their fourth daughter and lies weak on the kang. All four girls are skin and bones, staring at him in terror. His biased parents and his greedy younger brother’s family have come to force him to divorce his wife. In this life, Fang Hong finally sees the error of his ways. He stands up to his wicked mother, beats his younger brother, and severs ties with the family in writing. He takes his hunting rifle into the mountains, drawing on thirty years of experience to rewrite his wife and daughters’ fate, one step at a time, from hunting pheasants and rabbits to sable and black bears. With a hunting knife in hand, anyone who dares bully his wife and daughters will pay dearly! Follow the reborn hunter Fang Hong as he defies fate, protects his wife and cherishes his daughters, and leads his four little darlings on the road to riches!
