Back to 1983: The Hunter's Seven Wonderful Daughters

On a bitterly cold day in 2025, the lonely old man Du Shinian freezes to death beside his late wife’s grave, only to be reborn in the winter of 1983 at a forest farm in Northeast China. Before him is his exhausted wife, who has just given birth, and seven timid, gaunt daughters. Outside the door, his stepmother and brothers are pressuring him to adopt his nephew and carry on the family line. In his previous life, he was foolish and weak, believed the slander he heard, drove his virtuous wife to her death, and lost his seven daughters. In the end, the “nephew” he adopted took all his belongings, leaving him to freeze to death alone. In this life, he sees the despair in his wife Li Jinshu’s eyes and the fear on his daughters’ faces. His boundless remorse turns into a fury that could set the world ablaze! He severs ties with his family using a woodcutter’s knife and drives out the wicked with his staff! He vows to give his wife and daughters a safe haven! Drawing on the memories and hunting skills of his previous life, he uses slingshots, traps, and hunting rifles... The mountains and forests become his treasure trove. Sable pelts, wild boars, bears: wealth and danger come one after another. His stepmother’s schemes, his brothers’ jealousy, his neighbors’ harassment, thugs out for blood, wolves circling... He smashes every crisis with ruthless force! He wants not only to keep his wife and daughters well fed and clothed, but also to send them to school and turn his seven “burdens” into dazzling jewels. This is a story of redemption, and a hunter’s path to triumph. See how Du Shinian takes on the worst of the worst, cuts down his enemies, protects the ones he loves, and writes a fiery legend in the forests of 1980s Northeast China!
