The Clouds Clear After the Rain: My Soul Is an Ancient Taboo

Souls are the innate foundation of a summoner’s power on this planet. An Yuji, young mistress of the Soul Sect, unexpectedly awakens on her own the Seven Ancient Forbidden Souls, long thought to have vanished. The Ancient Forbidden Souls are powerful beyond measure, but they exact a cruel price: on every full-moon night, a summoner’s spiritual power runs wild. Even after regaining consciousness the next day, they must endure excruciating pain. Given enough time, she will eventually be consumed by her own power. Forced to take to her bed, An Yuji misses Bubble Academy’s first round of class-placement exams and can only watch the tournament from her hospital room. Within the sect, Sect Master Shen Xuqing leads a group of summoners in a desperate struggle to save the once-glorious Soul Sect, now in decline. At the academy, twelve students form the Bubble Squad. Combining offense, defense, support, and control, they break through the ranks of countless prodigies and grow stronger. But no one knows that dark currents have long been stirring in the distant Shadow Domain, where war is quietly brewing. A storm sweeping across the entire planet is closing in on Bubble Academy and the Soul Sect. Everyone sees the bedridden An Yuji as weak, unaware that she has already seen the schemes unfolding among the various forces. When war finally engulfs the land, the dormant Ancient Forbidden Souls will burst forth, and one day the clouds will part and the rain will cease. #Fantasy #FemaleProtagonist #NoMaleLead #Passionate #Ensemble Cast
