My Fair Princess: Transmigrated as Qing'er, I Mutter to the Emperor

A modern office worker wakes up one day to find she’s become Qing’er, the gentle and graceful princess from My Fair Princess. In public, she’s poised, sensible, and always knows how to behave. In private, she grumbles nonstop, criticizing everyone in the palace. She complains that the Empress Dowager has too many rules: [All she does is chant sutras every day. I’m going to fall asleep!] She complains that Xiao Yanzi and Ziwei are hopeless romantics: [Men aren’t as important as staying alive!] She complains that the emperor loves showing off: [There he goes putting on airs again. What a show-off.] Qianlong: ...So this is what my Qing’er really thinks of me? From then on, the emperor keeps a straight face in public but secretly follows her around every day to listen to her mutterings. And the more he listens, the more utterly doting he becomes. The women of the harem: Why is the emperor spoiling Princess Qing’er more and more? Qing’er: ??? I only ever insulted people in my head!
