The Concubine Gives Up, and the System Panics

Xia Qinghuan, the province's top-scoring student, is forced to give up her results and then sold to a fool as a lucky bride. In a fit of rage, she throws herself into a river. Who knew a Deep Palace Rat Race System would drop from the sky and make her transmigrate into the body of Wen Zhiwei, the lowliest consort in the palace? Others fight palace battles with cunning. She just lies flat. The System panics. “Host, please! Get competitive! Meet your KPIs and I'll give you mind-reading powers! Hit your targets and I'll give you a pill that keeps your beauty forever!” “I'm not competing. I'm tired. Let it all burn.” “Ding! Host detected lying flat. Automatically triggering passive skill: Outdo Them All!” The Noble Consort picks a fight? The System automatically fires back! The emperor ignores her? The System issues a mandatory rat-race mission! Before long, how did things take such a turn? The Noble Consort sobs, “Empress, please do something about Consort Wen! She has taken on every KPI in the entire harem by herself. I really can't take it anymore!” In her previous life, she swallowed her anger. In this life, she wants to lie flat, but the System won't let her. Fine, then. If she has to compete, she'll go all out and become a wise empress for the ages!
