Mistbound Boat

She is trapped in a dream she cannot wake from.

In the dream, there is an archive she can never finish putting in order, a river that flows backward, an apartment where the ceiling and floor are reversed, and a woman who is always lingering nearby. That woman wears her clothes and has her face, but is more willing to cry, to hurt, and to say, "I'm in pain."

She doesn't know who that woman is.

Until one day, she holds out the key she never lets out of her sight.

This is a dreamlike journey about "making peace with yourself." When she wakes, there is no answer, only the ability to finally let herself move on.

"Dreaming isn't avoidance. It's another way of facing things."

"When you finish reading, you'll think: So this whole time, I owed myself such a long conversation."
