Warm Years, Just Like Before

Years Warm as Ever is a story about protection and growth.

The thirty years Lin Nuannuan spent growing up surrounded by love were an ordinary epic, wrapped in her family's tenderness. On a rainy night when she was five, her older brother placed his most treasured space model beside her pillow. Outside her exam hall when she was eighteen, the three members of her family quietly waited beneath a parasol tree. On her thirtieth birthday, she received a photo album filled with the words "To be continued."

There are no dramatic breakups and reconciliations, only the gentle flow of time. Her father's silent waiting, her mother's steaming soup, her brother's seemingly casual acts of protection: love is the air they never speak of, yet breathe every moment. Through Nuannuan's eyes, we follow her from an innocent child to an independent woman, and see how the most precious feelings are tucked into sun-warmed quilts, between mended buttons, and in a home where a light is always left on.

This is a story that makes you believe being loved is not a reward, but a natural and indispensable part of life, like the morning sun streaming through the window.
