War of Resistance: From the Start, I Bombed Sakamoto's Regiment

Lin Chen, an ordinary military enthusiast who studies equipment from the War of Resistance at a military museum, wakes up to discover that he has transmigrated into the world of the TV series Drawing Sword. He arrives just in time for the legendary showdown at Cangyun Ridge, where the New First Regiment faces off against the Sakamoto Regiment.

Drawing on his familiarity with the plot, he quickly locates Sakamoto’s command post and helps Li Yunlong decide the battle with a single shell. He becomes a hero overnight, and Li Yunlong makes him a guard despite his low rank.

Lin Chen thinks his “god’s-eye view” will let him win with ease. He knows where every ambush and danger lies, and who will live and who will die.

But it soon becomes clear that something is wrong.

The Sakamoto Regiment is wiped out ahead of schedule, triggering a butterfly effect. Japanese officers who were supposed to die at Cangyun Ridge survive, an ambush that Li Yunlong was supposed to launch happens early, and even the movements of Yamamoto’s special forces have changed.

What chills Lin Chen to the bone is that someone has set their sights on him.

Matsui Ichiro, head of the Japanese North China Army’s secret service, personally takes action, searching within the Eighth Route Army for the “man who can predict the future.” At the same time, a pair of eyes hidden in the shadows of the Independent Regiment keeps watch on Lin Chen’s every move, filled with suspicion and murderous intent.

Who is it? Why do they want him dead?
