Infinite Rules: The Reversed Judgment

The deadly survival game Mobius, known as the “meat grinder,” has a new player.

His name is Shao Zhan. He has a strikingly beautiful, gentle face, with a tiny beauty mark beneath his lip. When he smiles, he looks like fragile porcelain.

The veteran players all shake their heads. “With a face like that, he'll never survive the first night in a dungeon.”

But on the first night, a hundred ghosts roam the streets.

While everyone else screams and runs for their lives, Shao Zhan drags over a redwood chair and sits in front of the gates of hell, calmly figuring out the rules of death and, for good measure, bankrupting the vengeful ghost NPC.

When the game's supreme adjudicator, the merciless killer known as the Executioner, arrives with a bloodstained blade in hand, feared by all, everyone thinks Shao Zhan is about to be hacked to pieces.

Instead, the killer's blade veers aside and cuts down the monster behind Shao Zhan.

Lowering blood-speckled lashes, he looks like a ferocious beast with its fangs put away. His voice is hoarse as he asks, “Do you have… any painkillers? My head hurts.”
