I Take Gu Can as My Disciple from the Start: I Am the World's Strongest Saber God

Ten thousand years ago, he was one of the Ancient Ten Heroes who shattered the old Divine Court in the Ascension War, the pinnacle of the saber path, standing shoulder to shoulder with the founders of the Three Teachings. The human world has sabers that can slay gods, sever the starry river, and turn back time. I once sat and discussed the Dao with the Most Sacred Teacher. I once walked beside the Buddha through the Pure Land of the Lotus. I once saw the Dao Ancestor ride his ox out through the pass. I am the last "old fellow" among the Ancient Ten Heroes still walking the human world. I have remained silent for ten thousand years for one reason: I am waiting. Waiting for this human world, plotted against by Zhou Mi, coveted by the Heavenly Dao, and surrounded by the remnants of the old gods, to give birth to a true "One," someone capable of carrying the wishes of all living beings and breaking free of fate. Ten thousand years later, a blue-robed traveler walks the human world, a flask of wine at his waist and a saber on his back. He sees the mountains and rivers unchanged, while the Heavenly Dao slowly rots. In Liju Cave Heaven, he takes in as his disciple the young man from Mud Bottle Alley, who harbors an evil flood dragon in his heart, and teaches him, "See the world clearly, then make your own choice." In Longquan Commandery, he watches the dark, lanky young man setting off with a sword case on his back, his eyes filled with an anticipation he has not felt in ten thousand years. The world believes he is searching for an opponent who can give him a satisfying fight. Only he knows that he is waiting for a "One." Waiting for that young man to reach the summit and seize authority over the Heavenly Dao. At that moment, he will draw his saber. The one he will strike down is not the young man, but the decaying heavens that have hung above the world since time immemorial, endlessly devouring the divinity and humanity of all living beings to sustain themselves! This strike is for the heroes of ages past, for all living beings today, and for the truly free new human world. "Chen Ping'an, pick up the pace."
