The Infinite Autopsy Records

Lin Shen, a third-year forensic science intern, spends his days doing odd jobs at the municipal forensic center and his nights working part-time in a funeral home's morgue to scrape together his tuition. He has long grown used to the chill of formalin and disinfectant, but never imagined that an unidentified corpse would drag him into an endless cycle of death.

The unidentified body of a man pulled from the river has a strange black fissure on its wrist. The instant Lin Shen touches it, the world spins. When he opens his eyes, he is at the site of a century-old cold case: Fleming Manor. He has 72 hours to uncover the truth behind a family massacre and confirm the true cause of death for every body. Fail, and he will remain here forever, becoming a new exhibit in the morgue's ledger.

A bloodstained mortician's records conceal a dark warning. Seven bodies with falsified causes of death speak of the truth buried beneath the lies. And something crawling out of the fissure is watching every person drawn into this game.

The manor on that rainy night is only the beginning. A familiar morgue, a sealed-off murder scene, deathly secrets unknown to anyone: one death game after another unfolds. Lin Shen has always believed that corpses don't lie. But when the black fissure crawls along his veins toward his heart, and his own face appears on a body laid out on the autopsy table, he finally understands: in this game with no exit button, death is far from the only thing he must fight.
