All-Round Super Dad: My Ex-Girlfriends Are All Big Shots

Cui Liupi is a five-star security guard in the provincial capital. He works the gate by day and delivers food at night. He’s a cocky smart-mouth with seven ex-girlfriends.

On his last delivery of the night, there was no clay pot rice in the delivery box. There was only a baby, with a note that read: “This is your daughter. If you don’t raise her right, I’ll kill you.”

The group chat with his ex-girlfriends exploded: the lawyer threatened to send a legal notice, the doctor made a video showing how to mix formula, the beauty blogger screamed and called the police, the reporter asked if she could put the story on the news, the race car driver said she’d speed over, the security expert asked whether she should “take care of” the source, and the restaurant owner quietly sent him a red envelope.

The DNA test came back: the baby wasn’t his. But hidden in the swaddling was the badge number of an anti-drug officer. The birth mother had died in the line of duty, and her last words were, “Give her to Cui Liupi.”

His three buddies, a socially anxious genius detective and writer and a one-punch-wonder police officer, slapped the table. “We’re raising this child.”

From then on, Cui Liupi’s daily routine was catching thieves in the neighborhood by day, delivering food and solving murder cases at night, changing diapers in the early hours, and digging up every last one of the crime syndicate’s protectors along the way.

His seven ex-girlfriends went from an “anti-Cui task force” to a “parenting dream team” and “crime-solving cheat codes”:

Lin Zhiyi drew up a feeding schedule like she was reviewing a contract; Bai Ningxue rushed to the ER in the middle of the night; Su Niannian used her disguise skills to help him go undercover; Qin Yumo’s CCTV report went viral across the internet; Zhou Ying chased down a suspect while carrying the stroller with one hand; Shen Zhien modified a bulletproof stroller; and Liu Yuning set up an intelligence station in a private dining room at her restaurant.

When the provincial capital’s biggest crime lord set his sights on them, the seven women smiled.

“That opponent looks pretty tough!”

Cui Liupi replied, “Let him be strong as he likes; the breeze brushes the mountain ridge. Let him be as fierce as he likes; the moon shines over the river. When have I ever been afraid?”
