Turn to Me from the Dark: An Evil Cultivator's Long March to the Righteous Path

He was once Mo Li, a demonic prodigy who devoured souls and spirits, infamous for his brutality. But at the very moment he broke through in his cultivation technique, he discovered that the family member he'd spent ten years searching for had died horribly at the hands of a fellow sect member's demonic soul-refining art. His Daoist heart shattered, his cultivation was destroyed, and after personally killing half the sect, he vanished into a sea of blood.

When he appeared again, he had become Mo Li, a new disciple of the Qingyun Sect. His cultivation was weak and his memories incomplete, yet he felt an almost instinctive hatred for monsters, demons, and evil spirits. Only he knew that deep in the stillness of night, the remnants of the Ten Thousand Spirits Heart-Devouring Art still roared within him, reminding him of a past that could never be washed away.

When slaying monsters, he was braver than anyone; when eliminating demons, he was more merciless than anyone. No one knew that the monsters and demons he "killed" were often devoured by his demonic art before they died. Not to increase his cultivation, but to refine their power into pills and secretly send them to villages below the mountain that had been corrupted by evil energy.

When old acquaintances from the demonic path recognize him, when orthodox elders see through him, when the descendants of his past victims come looking for him... Mo Li stands at the cliff between righteousness and evil, smiling as he draws his sword.

"I was once evil, so I understand its weaknesses better than anyone."

"I walk the righteous path now, so I know its naivety better than anyone."

"As for who I really am..."

Swordlight illuminates half of his bloodstained face.

"Ask me again when I've walked this road that no one has ever taken to its end."
