Shen Qingci, the legitimate daughter of the Duke of Zhenguo, disguises herself as a man and infiltrates the Eastern Depot to investigate the injustice done to her family. She plans to get close to the cold-blooded, brutal eunuch who holds the rank of Nine Thousand Years to gather information, only to discover that in private, this powerful court eunuch is a hopeless romantic with a tender heart. She casually compliments his jade pendant, and the next day his storeroom is piled high with rare jade ornaments. She pretends to be injured, and he searches for famous physicians all night. Until one day, he pinches her chin and smiles. “Miss Shen, had enough of your act?”
Very nice! Worth five-star praise!
