Siheyuan: A Master Chef at the Top Level, Cross Me and the Whole Lot of You Get Shot!

Lu Yuan transmigrates to a courtyard house in the late 1950s and awakens two golden fingers: a Ten-Thousandfold Farm Space and Master Chef skills! From the start, he hands over the disaster-resistant, high-yield, premium crop seeds he has cultivated to the state. For this achievement that benefits both country and people, he is appointed a specially engaged national-level expert in agriculture and food, receiving special state protection and a dedicated allowance. Living quietly in the city, he earns a salary far beyond the ordinary and leads a comfortable, flavorful life, with every aspect of his daily needs taken care of in style. His distinction and openness also win the admiration of the cool and beautiful factory worker Ding Qiunan. The educated and cultured teacher Ran Qiuyue often visits to chat with him, while the clear-eyed and capable landlady Chen Xueru looks after him in many ways. But his peaceful life makes the crooked residents of the courtyard green with envy! Qin Huairu, who’s always looking to suck others dry, tries to show up and take advantage, but Lu Yuan turns her away without mercy. Silly Zhu, who can’t tell right from wrong, comes to provoke trouble and gets a harsh lesson. Then the sanctimonious Yi Zhonghai teams up with the courtyard’s other villains, planning to storm Lu Yuan’s home and seize his supplies, and even maliciously report his supposed misconduct to the neighborhood office? Lu Yuan merely regards them with cold indifference, not deigning to waste words on them. Who could have guessed that the report would be passed up the chain, and Lu Yuan’s status as a national-level expert would soon be verified? The next moment, vehicles speed onto the scene, officials seal off the entire courtyard, and berate the villains who made malicious accusations and plotted to steal other people’s property: “You maliciously accused a nationally protected key expert and plotted to seize public and private property. You’re all coming with us. The law will deal with you severely!” At the sight of this scene, the people who usually swaggered around so arrogantly turn pale with fear. In the end, they pay a terrible price for their greed and wicked deeds!
