My Blind Date Got Snatched? The Stern Lawyer Proposes with His Fortune

[Sweet, money-loving wedding planner VS sharp-tongued, abstinent top divorce lawyer]

[She pursues him + Both are each other’s only partner + Extreme contrast + Extra sweet and hilarious, no angst]

Xia Xingqiao falls in love at first sight with a top-notch man in a tailored suit, radiating abstinence.

She boldly asks for his WeChat. The man glances at her name badge and coldly refuses: “I’m a divorce lawyer, and you’re a wedding planner. Adding you would hurt my finances.”

Though her first attempt goes nowhere, Xia Xingqiao isn’t discouraged. She vows to win this aloof heartthrob over!

At last, during a celebration banquet, a tipsy Xia Xingqiao gets outrageously bold and bites the man on the Adam’s apple.

The next day, she hurriedly explains, “Lawyer Lu, when adults drink too much, let’s pretend nothing happened. Can we settle this privately?”

Lu Tingshen grits his teeth. “You ruined my chastity and still want an out-of-court settlement? That’s a hit-and-run.”

Xia Xingqiao thinks he’s too difficult and prepares to give up. She turns around and goes on a blind date.

But just after she sits down, Lu Tingshen arrives with a gloomy expression and slaps a thick “Premarital Property Agreement” on the table, scaring off her date.

He corners her against the wall, his voice husky. “How do you like my credentials? I guarantee I’ll never divorce you. If I break my promise, I’ll leave with nothing.”

Later, the great Lawyer Lu pesters her for kisses every day.

Xia Xingqiao sneers and shoots back, “I’m a wedding planner, and you’re a divorce lawyer. Kissing you would hurt my finances!”
