I Just Want to Die, but the Empress Insists on Marrying Me

Lin Xuan transmigrates into the body of the regent of Great Yan, a tyrant with power over the court and a reputation for bringing ruin to the nation, and binds himself to the [National Destiny Ruining System].

If he can ruin the nation's destiny, enrage the people, and get the puppet empress to personally sentence him to death, he can take home a ten-billion bonus to the modern world!

To get himself killed, Lin Xuan begins making one disastrous decision after another:

He promotes greedy, unscrupulous merchants to manage the treasury, lets a street madman build weapons, and appoints cowardly deserters as generals.

To incite public fury, he squanders the treasury on “useless” cement roads. To get himself killed, he faces a million enemy cavalrymen alone without wearing armor!

But then...

The unscrupulous merchants wage financial warfare and drain the enemy nation dry without shedding a drop of blood! The madman invents the steam engine and cannons, ushering in an industrial revolution! The cement roads let Great Yan's cavalry sweep across the world!

And as for fighting alone? Lin Xuan's passive invincibility activates, and he slaps the enemy nation's God of War to pieces!

Years later, gazing at the Great Yan Empire, whose borders span the globe and whose vassal states all come to pay tribute, Lin Xuan breaks down in tears. “Your Majesty, I truly am a treacherous minister for the ages. Please have me drawn and quartered at once!”

The peerlessly beautiful empress descends from her throne, her eyes full of affection. “My Imperial Tutor was willing to bear the world's condemnation to clear the realm for me. I have no way to repay you, so I can only offer the world as my dowry and share the empire with you!”
