Star Spirit Divine Companions

Xing Ran, a 22-year-old astrophotographer, has a secret: she can see falling stars transform into “star spirits.” One day, she witnesses a meteor fall and become Ye Chen, a mysterious man who has been imprisoned for a thousand years. He was once a star spirit who maintained order in the universe, but after breaking a heavenly law, he was trapped in the human world. Only a wish made with genuine, selfless love can set him free. Deeply drawn to Ye Chen's purity and his cruel fate of imprisonment, Xing Ran learns that making a pact with a star spirit to have a wish granted comes at a price: she will lose what she treasures most. Meanwhile, the Lord of Greed, an evil god who tempts humans to make selfish wishes and absorbs the power of star spirits, closes in. He is determined to keep Ye Chen imprisoned and covets Xing Ran's unusual ability. Torn between her dream of photography and saving Ye Chen, Xing Ran is repeatedly lured into the God of Desire's traps and struggles with her feelings. She gradually discovers that Ye Chen's imprisonment is closely bound to her own fate, and that every sacrifice she makes deepens their bond. When the Lord of Greed's scheme finally comes to a head, Xing Ran resolutely makes the purest, most selfless wish of all: “Set Ye Chen free.” In that moment, she not only breaks his thousand-year imprisonment, but also pays the dearest price to find an eternal love that spans the stars and shakes heaven and earth. Together, they face the ultimate evil!
