Siheyuan: One Slash Each, What a Thrill

Ten years ago, at Black Wind Stronghold, the bandit Yi Zhonghai killed a man to take his wife, leaving Shen Che’s family in ruins.

Ten years later, in the capital, the former “Four Pillars” have whitewashed their past and become the respected “Number One Uncle,” preaching virtue and morality at every turn.

On his adoptive father’s deathbed, Shen Che learns the truth. He picks up a knife and steps into that Siheyuan.

All that talk of being respected elders and living in harmony with the neighbors means nothing to him. It’s just a bandits’ den wearing a new disguise.

Smiling, he knocks on Yi Zhonghai’s door. “Yi Zhonghai, do you recognize this knife?”

Starting tonight, he’ll send every bloodstained “bandit remnant” in this courtyard on their way, one by one.

One slash each, no wasted words. Now that’s satisfying!
