Honghuang: The System of Keeping a Low Profile Activates from the Start

[Primordial World + System + Survivalist Path + Satisfying Read + Anti-Cliché]

Tongtian transmigrated, and from the start, he was listening to the Dao at the Zixiao Palace.

Hongjun spoke: "The calamity of Investiture of the Gods is about to begin. The disciples under my tutelage must be put on the list and face the tribulation."

Yuanshi turned to look at him. "Third Brother, your Jie Sect has ten thousand immortals coming to pay their respects. It stands to reason that you should contribute a few more."

Zhunti chimed in, lamenting, "The West is so poor and barren. We really don't have anyone to spare."

Looking at this pack of schemers, Tongtian understood perfectly. The original owner had been set up and killed just like this: four Sages had ganged up on him, the Jie Sect had been destroyed, and he had been imprisoned in the Zixiao Palace.

Then he heard a crisp chime.

[Ding! The Survivalist System has been activated! The Host is facing certain death. Beginner quest issued: Refuse to be put on the list and seal the mountain to cultivate in seclusion.]

[Rewards: one drop of Pangu's blood essence, one copy of the Nine Revolutions Divine Art, three Primordial Huangzhong Plums, and one stream of Primordial Violet Qi.]

Tongtian said nothing. He got up and left.

Back at the Eastern Sea, he set up the Ten Absolute Arrays and the Immortal Slaying Sword Array, layering them one over another until Golden Turtle Island was sealed up like an iron barrel.

Then he called out to the Primordial Three Realms: "As long as the calamity continues, the Jie Sect will not emerge!"

Yuanshi brought Hongjun and four Sages to block the entrance, shouting outside for ages.

Tongtian replied in his attendant's voice, "My master says he won't receive visitors. It'll be at least thirty to fifty thousand kalpas, and if it takes longer... that'll depend on his mood."

Yuanshi was so furious that his face turned green.

Tongtian lay on his cloud bed and began studying that drop of Pangu's blood essence.

The Investiture of the Gods? Let whoever wants to go do it.

I'm going to survive in seclusion until the next calamity.
