Dumping the Hypocrite: A High-Stakes Game of Cat and Mouse with the Rich Young Master

Ming Silan, the iron-fisted heir to the Ming Group, discovers on the eve of her engagement party that Chu Zeyan, her fiancé of many years, is a complete hypocrite. While professing his love for her, he covets her family fortune and secretly conspires with her stepsister. Ming Silan acts at once, exposing the scumbag in front of the city’s elite and publicly calling off the engagement, leaving him disgraced. At the moment when she is at her most disheveled yet most carefree, her nemesis and sworn rival, the rakish young master Ji Ye, unexpectedly appears and launches an intense, awkward pursuit. At first, Ming Silan thinks he’s just another playboy who toys with people’s feelings. But Ji Ye surprises her, thwarting every scheme her ex and stepsister throw at her, protecting her in his wild, reckless way and expressing his love with endearing clumsiness. Through their repeated clashes and push-and-pull, Ming Silan gradually sees the sincerity hidden beneath Ji Ye’s flirtatious facade. The sworn rivals become a bickering couple, then join forces to foil her ex-fiancé’s business revenge. Ming Silan ultimately tames the untamed stallion, making him her devoted loyal dog.
