Hungry Ghost Mountain

The stone monkey outside Ah Hong's Restaurant is forever staring intently at Hungry Ghost Mountain. The place has a notorious reputation for evil. Locals would rather die than go in, and countless people have wandered inside by mistake, never to come out again. Tian Liang and his companions were blocked along the way, so they ventured into this forbidden zone in search of adventure. As soon as they entered the mountain, the forest fell deathly quiet, and a faint, bloody odor drifted on the wind. They hadn't gone far before a forest of white-furred trees stretched across their path. White fluff landed on the backs of their hands, cold as funeral paper from a dead man's wake. By day, they had to avoid the man-eating vine trees. At night, they came face to face with Ming Dynasty ghost soldiers marching past their camp. Beside an altar halfway up the mountain, the shadows of red-eyed stone men and stone dragons swayed in the wind, sending chills through them. Worse still, they ran into tomb robbers armed with hunting rifles. Attacked from both sides, they had no way forward or back. No one knew that from the moment they set their packs in the stone monkey's arms, they had become prey to Hungry Ghost Mountain, with no way out.
