The Years in Beidacang

This is a story about educated youth at Hongxing Farm in Heilongjiang in the 1970s. Educated youth from all over China work, struggle, and grow alongside the farm’s officials on the black soil. There are no earth-shattering events, just hoes and sickles, planting crops, raising cattle and sheep, eating and drinking, joking and bickering, and the footprints a group of young people left behind as the years went by.
