The Snowfield's Edge: Resistance in the Dust

In 1939, in a major northern city buried in snow and ice, a firecracker maker’s well-intentioned blunder sets off a spectacular explosion. A top-secret Japanese biological warfare film reel ends up in the hands of a foot masseur. Thus, a motley crew of street-level nobodies, including the foot masseur, a pickpocket, and an actor, are forcibly molded into a unit by two Northeast Army veterans who narrowly escaped death. They have no plot armor, only the wildest tricks and plans that never keep pace with events. Trapped in an icy wasteland where every step could be their last, these lowly ants decide to pull off a world-shaking heist!
