Flying Through Life: My Brother Is Back from Overseas

A washed-up racing king. A big-time investor. Two brothers who haven't seen each other in fifteen years reunite in a run-down factory. And so the legend of the Chasing Light Racing Team begins! Zhang Chi has lived a pretty miserable life. A five-time champion, he was banned for five years overnight. Just as he finally made his comeback, his driving school went bankrupt. At forty-six, he sat in a dilapidated factory, convinced that this was all his life would ever amount to. Then his big brother came back. Qian Chaosheng spent fifteen years in North American venture capital, sharp-suited and connected to everyone who mattered. He put down two million at once and said, "I'll put the team together. You just drive." Zhang Chi thought his brother had come to help pay off his debts. He had no idea his brother had come to help him defy fate and rewrite his life. Manager Ye, a nine-time champion whose team had been pushed aside by Guangke, was driving for a ride-hailing app. Qian Chaosheng found him. "Come manage my younger brother. Double the pay, plus equity." Manager Ye glanced at Zhang Chi sitting nearby and remembered the song "Glory Days" on the rooftop all those years ago. "All right. To hell with this ride-hailing job, I'm done!" Lin Zhendong, sick of being controlled by capital, came because he wanted to win clean for once. Li Xiaohai, whose price had been slashed by Suke, came because his master had said, "I want to race with you." Liu Shihao, too expensive for anyone to hire, came hoping to score a free meal, only to end up joining the team. A bunch of "fools," young and old, came together. They had been set up, trampled on, and laughed at, but never gave up. From a run-down factory to the international circuit, from a million in debt to world champions, they spent twenty years proving one thing: In this life, having a group of brothers to race alongside is worth it. This is a story about brotherhood, passion, and never giving up!
