Lion King: Cangya

Every lion on the savanna knows one rule:

Don't mess with Cang Ya. Don't touch his people. Don't get in his way.

He is tall and imposing, with a dark mane, a scar beneath his left eye, and a tear in his left ear.

He always climbs a tree alone to watch the stars, his lonely silhouette enough to break your heart. No one knows what he is looking at, and no one dares ask.

He has a band of brothers: Scarface, Broken Fang, and Minghe. Each is fiercer than the last, and each more loyal.

He has friends from other clans: Big Head, Sickle, and Kelly. They are hyenas, the savanna's “bandits,” yet they would gladly lay down their lives for him.

He has known several loves: Gray Shadow, Alice, and the mother of Yellow Tail. Every one left an indelible mark on his heart.

He has faced countless rivals: Mr. T, Weird Tail, and Serkokama. Each is more devious and more difficult to deal with than the last.

He has won, and he has lost, but he always manages to survive one great battle after another.

His name is Cang Ya, the only lion on the savanna who climbs trees to watch the stars.

His story begins with a tree, and ends with a tree.

The savanna will not remember every king.

But it will remember Cang Ya.
