A Tycoon’s Game: Two Kids Spoiling Each Other

Gu Chi is the youngest son of the Gu family, doted on by his three older sisters. He’s a mischievous handful with no filter, but sharp as a tack. After losing a bet with his father, he’s sent to work his way up from the bottom at the family’s newly acquired tech company, without revealing who he is. On his very first day, he sets his sights on Lu Yu, at the desk next to his. Lu Yu is the Lu family’s only son and the sole heir to a financial empire. He looks like a cold, chaste dreamboat, but underneath he’s a husky in wolf’s clothing: brooding, sharp-tongued, fiercely protective, and possessive. He joined the company because he suspects someone is shorting Lu family stock and wants to find the mole from the inside. The first time they meet, Gu Chi runs his mouth: “Dude, did you pay to get that face?” Lu Yu coolly shoots back, “Did your brain get disconnected for nonpayment?” And just like that, they’re enemies. Then come the daily jabs: Gu Chi gets caught slacking, and Lu Yu sends a screenshot to the whole department chat; Lu Yu’s meeting falls flat, and Gu Chi holds up a sign that says “King of Awkward Silences.” But as they keep sniping at each other, something starts to change Until one day, Gu Chi’s secret comes out. Not that he’s the Gu family’s youngest son, but that he’s realized he’s genuinely fallen for Lu Yu. “Lu Yu, I think… I like you.” “...” “Say something, for fuck’s sake!” “I’m trying to figure out how to kiss you without seeming too eager.”
