Apocalypse Descends: I Turned My Junker into an Interstellar Fortress

Disaster strikes at the height of the Spring Festival return-home rush in Longguo, turning the nation’s expressways into enormous parking lots. Suddenly, a meteor shower from outer space breaks apart in the atmosphere, scattering alien nanomechanical spores known as “Stardust.” The apocalypse begins: Humans and animals who inhale Stardust have an 80% chance of undergoing “mechanical-flesh mutation,” becoming mindless half-machine, half-flesh monsters called Mutants. At the same time, global temperatures plummet to minus 50 degrees, and electromagnetic storms knock out conventional electronic devices on a massive scale. Chu He is an ordinary young man driving a beat-up used Wuling Hongguang to visit his family in his hometown in Longguo. He defies the laws of physics, upgrading and modifying his vehicle without limit.
