When the Lights Go Out, Open Your Eyes

The end of the world. The darkest hour. This is a lightless, pitch-black world where every source of light is what keeps you alive. Without light, your Sanity value will drain away. Once it hits zero, you’ll be corrupted and turned into a monster. Even the dead become new monsters. I, Han Wubei, was born in the apocalypse. I don’t know what year it is in the New Era. My job is to handle funerals, and my main duty is to suppress the dead and help them pass on. If I succeed, they won’t become monsters. But one day, after I took on a job to suppress a ghostly monster at a funeral procession stretching ten li, our funeral cortege encountered a ghost bride in a red wedding procession stretching ten li on a bridge. At that moment, I knew… I might be done for.
