The Doomsday Mother Empress: Birthing an Endless Brood

The apocalypse has arrived! The sun no longer rises in the east, the moon no longer shines, and not a trace of light remains in the world. Unfathomable creatures run rampant across the land. Freezing temperatures, scarce resources, and harsh living conditions have wiped out 80% of the world’s population. At the people’s most desperate hour, someone kindled a tiny spark of light. Like the flame that keeps civilization alive, it spread like a spark setting the whole prairie ablaze. Is this a beautiful beginning? Are people saved? Yes, they are, but only those strong enough to save themselves. As for me… I’m not even human. I’m just a disposable tool, cannon fodder sent to scout ahead, and a scapegoat for others. The light of hope never shone on me. Instead… the pain and darkness I endured only grew stronger. Accused of crimes I never committed, I’m no longer a person, but a demon who betrayed humanity. Fine, you’re all right! I’m sorry I was born human. Why couldn’t I have been a demon? So… I’m done being human!
