The Purple Dragon Roars Across Primordial Chaos: The Heavenly Lord of the Way

In the primordial era, the world was in chaos. Conflicts raged everywhere, spreading to every corner until all was swallowed by turmoil. Among them was a boy named Zhiqiu Yiye. He fled from place to place with his parents to escape the fighting, but they died saving him. The boy was lost. He could not understand why the world had become this way, until he met a cultivator: Yuanshi Tianzun. Yuanshi Tianzun said that there was no “Dao” in this world. Yuanshi Tianzun said, “The chaos of this age comes from having no Dao to rely on, no laws to uphold, and no rites to follow. All living beings act on instinct and think only of their own gain. With no reverence, restraint, or limits, they destroy one another, and peace will never come.” The boy thought he understood and spread the Dao throughout the world, hoping to stop the conflicts, but he was met with setbacks time and again. Yuanshi Tianzun told him, “You have nothing but good intentions and the great Dao of heaven and earth, but not the slightest cultivation or strength to match them. To others, your words are nothing more than empty theory, a castle in the air, and not worth a thing.” Wanting to end the chaos, he embarked on the path of cultivation. After becoming a sage, he clashed with Yuanshi Tianzun over how to govern the world, bringing turmoil to parts of it.
