Siheyuan: Rainwater Wakes Up and Lives Freely with Her Farm

[Siheyuan, low-conflict, personal farm]

In her previous life, He Yushui was bled dry by her brother Silly Zhu and Qin Huairu's family, and met a tragic end. When she suddenly awakens memories of the original story, she finally sees things clearly! To hell with the whole courtyard of scoundrels. Whoever wants to be the brother-obsessed doormat can take the job! In this resource-scarce decade of the 1960s, she unexpectedly binds herself to a portable spiritual spring and miniature farm. While everyone else chews on cornmeal buns, she enjoys delicious food in her own space and raises crops and chickens.

Faced with Yi Zhonghai's moral blackmail, Qin Huairu's act of helplessness, and Silly Zhu's cluelessness, He Yushui simply locks the door and lives her own life. She doesn't argue or make a scene. She fights magic with magic, and while the courtyard residents tear each other apart over a few pounds of cornmeal, she relaxes in her melon patch, sipping from her mug and enjoying the spectacle.

See how clear-eyed He Yushui avoids conflict and quietly builds her fortune in this down-to-earth era, gets into college, finds true love, and turns ordinary days of food, clothing, and household chores into a heavenly life others can only dream of!
