The Hero Got Hired by the Demon King!?

【A subversion of the usual tropes, guaranteed to be fun!】【A workplace adventure for a hero unlike any you've seen before】 I'm Rain, the most miserable hero in history. When I finally fought my way through the nine levels of the Abyss, covered in blood and standing before the Demon King, he pushed up his gold-rimmed glasses and looked up from behind a mountain of account books: “Congratulations on passing your final interview, Mr. Hero.” “Here's your employment contract. Sign it, and you'll be the director of the Demon King's Castle's Anti-Hero Division.” “Annual salary of 500,000 magic crystals, six types of insurance and two housing benefits, plus stock options.” He paused, then added: “Also, your predecessor, the previous hero, is now our CFO.” “He says you'll love it here.” I looked at the contract, then at the million-strong army behind me, waiting for my triumphant return. Then I pulled out a pen. To hell with justice. I want employment benefits!
