The Human NPC Wants to Be the Male Lead, Too

[Pure Love, One-on-One Romance + Fantasy Romance + Mutual Salvation + Raising a Devoted, Obsessive Male Lead + Romance-Focused]

Just because she received a free air fryer, ordinary office worker Su Yi was dragged into a romance-fantasy conquest novel with a completely terrible plot.

With no special powers or talent for spiritual arts, she started off running a five-kilometer obstacle course while a baby monster chased her.

What kind of heroine starts a story like this?!

The good news: It was a special-rewards novel, and the male lead was devastatingly handsome.

The bad news: She missed him from the start and would have to find him herself.

System: "Sweetie, in a special-rewards novel, intimate contact with the male lead earns you a big pile of points!"

Su Yi: "..."

So who exactly is this supposed to be a reward for?

The System was a useless chatterbox, and the male lead was still "nowhere to be found."

Su Yi laughed in exasperation and turned to the humanlike NPC she had summoned. "Can I pursue you instead?"

NPC Guy: "? Sorry, I don't have a heart."

Su Yi: "That's okay. I know you're a good person."

And so, the good-hearted NPC Guy dragged Su Yi along on a journey to find the male lead.

System: "Sweetie, the male lead has been found. You can start your conquest now!"

Su Yi: "Can't you see he's fallen in love at first sight with that beautiful doctor? I'm not becoming the other woman!"

System: "But if you don't complete the conquest tasks soon, the NPC Lord is going to die."

Well, she had no choice. For the sake of her dear friend NPC Guy, Su Yi decided to sacrifice herself. But just as she was about to step forward, NPC Guy grabbed her and wouldn't let go.

Su Yi: "If I don't kiss him, you'll die!"

NPC Guy: "If you kiss him, then I'll really die!"
