The Fox Immortal Repays a Favor, and the Fortune Teller Gets a Headache

In a small northern city stands the Heart-Questioning Studio. The shop is tiny, but its threshold is high.

Its owner, Ji Changfeng, can toss three copper coins to divine yin and yang, predict fortune and misfortune, and solve the world's most baffling cases. The only problem is, all he wants is a quiet, peaceful life.

That is, until he takes in Su Su, a nine-tailed white fox who wants to repay his kindness.

Boss, today's reading says you're going to lose money!

...That's because I'm buying you your tenth roast chicken.

From then on, the Heart-Questioning Studio takes a strange new turn:

An old man with dementia comes looking for his missing son, only for the case to reveal a murder plot meant to silence witnesses;

A veteran actor who keeps a ghost child: is he really communicating with spirits, or just obsessed in his old age?

An online celebrity buys someone else's face. She changes her face, and her fate changes too.

One bizarre cold case after another, enough to give even the police a headache, comes knocking.

Ji Changfeng handles the divination and deduction, searching for the truth;

Su Su munches on sunflower seeds and asks, "Boss, what are we having for dinner tonight?"
