War Agent

Li Jie, a Chinese-American orphan and former Delta Force and SEAL Team Six captain codenamed Black Mamba, enters the world of independent mercenaries to seek revenge. Instead, he unexpectedly stirs up the global mercenary and intelligence networks. From street cons to sophisticated espionage, he assembles a team of condemned ghost agents, data-obsessed underground hackers, experts in interrogation who walk the line, elite agents on the run, retired top assassins, and retired special forces veterans. He fights fire with fire to build a shadowy mercenary empire. When his brothers fall to treachery and the woman he loves becomes a bargaining chip, he's forced to forge his own code in the abyss of mercenary work: missions bring money, money buys lives, and intelligence brings power. Trust, however, is the one instinct that must be strangled.
