Everyday Life of a Corporate-Slave Feng Shui Master

My master hurriedly taught me a few real skills, tossed me a few yellowed old books, and, before I could formally head up the mountain to cultivate, kicked me straight into the mortal world. “Go save the world, and while you're at it, pay the rent.”

I'm Lin Yi, a feng shui master forced into the job. My main gig is slaving away in a CBD cubicle; my side gig is checking office feng shui for coworkers, improving my boss's financial luck, and adjusting project feng shui for clients. Don't laugh, they really believe in this stuff.

I use science to explain why a doorway aligned with a window drains your wealth, psychology to analyze why people lacking Fire in the Five Elements keep dating jerks, and economics to interpret the fortunes of phone numbers. I've read people's recent fortunes from their profile pictures, cured a project manager's migraines with Daoist medicine, and helped a junior accountant avoid investment traps with the principles of fate analysis.

This is a practical guide to metaphysics disguised as a novel. You're reading a story, but learning real skills you can put to use right away. No System, no golden finger, just the useful knowledge my master stuffed into my head and the sense of humor life forced me to develop.

Save the world? Let me save up this month's rent first.
