Forbidden Platform

When the sky split open and a blood-red countdown appeared, the whole world became a colossal stage. Actors forced onto the stage had to follow their character cards. A single misquoted line meant an OOC purge, turning them into paper figures or clouds of blood. This was the despairing theater known as the Forbidden Stage.

Prop master Lin Yan awakened the Eye of the Audience, allowing him to see acting scores and lines of death. He discovered that he was the reincarnation of the seventh-generation Faceless One. To escape this death trap, he joined forces with forensic pathologist Su Wan, the reincarnation of the Qingyi, executioner Xie Lin, and memory keeper Chen Mo to form the Rebellion Alliance. In deadly instances such as School Festival, Ghost Wedding, and The Twelve Double Hours, they refused to become the stage master's puppets, tearing apart the script through collective OOC and searching for truth amid the falsehoods.

But the stage was alive. It wanted not actors, but eternal prisoners. When Shen Qing became half human and half stage master, and memories of a past-life sacrifice resurfaced, Lin Yan had to choose between inheriting the stage master's power to save his beloved and burning down the stage to forget all living beings. This was no game, but the ultimate struggle between reality and illusion. As long as the stage stands, the performance will never end. Only those who break the play can escape alive.
